“Sometimes The Wind Sings” – (By Sesi)

Sometimes the wind sings quietly
Behind the patter of eager raindrops
On rusty aluminium rooftops
and as I listen
Images of you
spiral before my eyes
Each one bouncing off the other
In a kaleidoscope of memories
Sometimes the wind sings your distant heart
And I listen, and sometimes
I whisper I love you too

Raindrops on rusty aluminum rooftops–a backdrop for much of my childhood on the farm! I think every one that I have ever loved somehow KNOWS how much I love them still, the memories bouncing off each other from their “aura” to mine!
