“A Poem About Nothing” – Poem By: Heather Whitley Gibson

a poem about nothing
it has no words
stationary, still standing
different lines printed
different spaces
like no other colors
found, covers, a whole
hole punched
sewn and glued, open book
bound, empty, but full
nothing written, write right
like caring about nothing
nothing cares
epilog, indexed, interlude
number picked
put down, picked up
it covers nothing
like it’s lines
spaces spaced, station
nothing is there

this is very well written heather. it conveys to all areas of the process when it’s just not there.

Wow, I love it! Reminds me of my poem I wrote when I was sitting on the bed staring at the wall. I was upset because I felt the urge to write, but nothing was there. It’s right here..the very last poem on the page Empty of Me, http://lynleahz.com/2012/06/04/songspoems-ive-written/ God bless you! Love your writes!

Sometimes even A Poem About Nothing can be interesting.
This poem has good rhythm, could be put to music by your musical muse…
